The room was beautifully decorated with a stunning view of the bay, and the breakfast service was relaxing, albeit a bit slow. However, the limited dining options in the bar were unexpectedly disappointing.

great stay but a missed opportunity for amenities
The staff demonstrated a genuine commitment to making my stay enjoyable. The Nespresso coffee machine in the room added a touch of luxury I appreciated.
Limited on-site amenities could enhance the overall experience.

we really enjoyed our stay at the grange hotel. the room was super comfy and clean, which made it easy to relax. the location is amazin, with beautiful views of the surrounding area. the breakfast was delicious and had a great variety. the staff were so friendly and made us feel welcomed!
the service at dinner was slow, and we had a long wait for our food. also, the toilet in our room made a loud noise that was really annoying.

I had a lovely time with my family enjoying the beautiful grounds. The location was perfect for relaxing walks, and we appreciated the classic decor around the hotel. It was wonderful to celebrate my aunt's 90th birthday in such a charming place.
My kids wished for a smoother check-in process. The initial room didn’t meet our request, and service could improve for families, especially with accessibility needs.

The desserts were absolutely divine! I found some culinary gems close by like Carriages Restaurant next door. The pool area was lovely too, even if you had to pay extra to use it.
Now, not gonna lie—the room was like a sauna! Even with the fan on, I was still sweating like a roast chicken. Plus, breakfast could have been a bit more posh instead of just buffet style.

Great food, but room needs a refresh!
We had a nice 2-night stay as a couple. The eggs Benedict for breakfast was delicious, and the steak night was a great deal. The staff were friendly, even if they were a bit stretched. our room felt a bit worn and could definitely use some updates. it was a mixed bag for sure.

The room was clean and had a nice setup. Fresh towels every day, which was great. But it got really hot. definitely needed air conditioning. The bed was comfy enough, but I wouldn't say it was anything special. a decent spot, but a bit stifling at times.

would love to return
Great location near the train station and Victorian charm throughout. My room had a king size bed and fast free WiFi. The breakfast buffet was extensive with full English options. Dinner in the bar had good food, though the menu was limited. Ample parking and friendly staff made it a nice stay. Spa facilities looked good too!

Recommended for families wanting a grand setting
I stayed here for a wedding and the place was just absolutely beautiful. The chandeliers and all the elegance made me feel like I was in a real luxury setting which is rare these days.
It wasn't cheap, but you get what you pay for and it was still acceptable.

Fairly chuffed with the menu—hand-made pasta is a must-try! The breakfast buffet and the lovely lounge bar made my stay scrumptious. The staff were super friendly and helped me feel right at home.
While the sauna left me hanging, and the steam room was a no-show, it didn't put a damper on my stay. Just a bit puzzling that a kids' meal almost cost a fortune!
